THDA Reset Outreach

THDA purchased a list of adjustable rate mortgages of $240,000 and below with reset dates between January 2008 and March 2009. Each quarter, THDA is mailing a letter to the homeowners affected that quarter, encouraging them to verify if they can afford the new payment. If the payment will be a financial burden, the owners are encouraged to call promptly a foreclosure prevention counselor and / or the servicer of the mortgage.

A list of THDA-certified counselors is printed on the back of the letter. The counseling assistance is free.
